Zijn collega PJ Vogt kwam terug met Search Engine, Goldman heeft nu Hyperfixed. Beide shows gaat over het oplossen van prangende vragen of problemen. In Hyperfixed helpt Goldman elke aflevering een luisteraar, waarbij hij allerlei zijpaden neemt om dingen uit te zoeken of uit te leggen. Zo gaat de eerste pilotaflevering over de vraag waarom men in Amerikaanse recepten cups gebruikt en niet gewoon kilogrammen, zoals de rest van de wereld. Een vermakelijke podcast waar je ook nog wel iets van opsteekt, maar in dit genre is het beter gedaan.

Whatever it is, Alex Goldman — reporter, radio producer, and overconfident idiot — will get to the bottom of it (if there’s a bottom to be found. Results may vary). Or at least enough of an explanation that you’re ok with the annoyance. He’s not perfect.
